Duties

• Thoroughly clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as washing vegetables, peeling, and basic ingredient handling
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, storage areas, and dining spaces
• Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed
• Help with waste disposal and recycling to keep the kitchen environment tidy and safe
• Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment use
• Support hospitality staff during busy service times by ensuring cleanliness of dining areas when needed

Requirements

• Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is key!
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and food safety standards is a plus
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
• Basic understanding of food handling procedures and hygiene practices
• Previous hotel or food service experience is advantageous but not required

Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
