Kitchen Helper/Dishwasher

Job Summary:

The Kitchen Helper assists in basic food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen. This role supports the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and a hygienic working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and other ingredients as directed
• Assist in basic food prep and assembling simple menu items
• Clean dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and work areas
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and ensure food safety standards are met
• Dispose of garbage and manage proper waste segregation
• Assist cooks and other kitchen staff with tasks as needed
• Unload and store deliveries properly
• Follow all hygiene and safety protocols

Qualifications:

• No formal experience required, but kitchen experience is a plus
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Strong sense of cleanliness and organization
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods, lift, and bend
• Punctual, reliable, and a team player

Work Environment:

• High-energy kitchen within a café and outdoor dining setting (kitchen styles may vary)
• Physically demanding; requires lifting, bending, and standing for long periods and handling hot equipment
• May involve handling cleaning chemicals and operating basic kitchen equipment

Pay: Php12,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
