Kitchen Intern (BOH)

Kitchen Intern will assist the culinary team in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, sanitation, and inventory support. This role provides hands-on experience in professional kitchen practices, food safety, and teamwork, while contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation

• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food prep (washing, chopping, portioning).
• Support plating and presentation under supervision.
• Learn and apply proper cooking techniques and kitchen standards.

Kitchen Operations

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist in inventory checks, restocking, and storage of supplies.

Team Support

• Collaborate with chefs and staff to ensure timely service.
• Support kitchen operations during peak hours.
• Participate in special events or catering as needed.

Learning & Development

• Gain exposure to culinary techniques and kitchen management.
• Learn about menu planning, portion control, and food costing.
• Participate in training sessions and mentorship opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• Strong interest in cooking and kitchen operations.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks.

Pay: Php13,437.50 - Php23,437.50 per month
