Kitchen / Joinery Installer

Kitchen / Joinery Installer

Dunedin & Central Otago

As one of New Zealand’s leading kitchen specialists, Kitchen Studio helps Kiwis bring their vision for their dream kitchen to life. From initial design through to installation, we pride ourselves on delivering quality kitchens and a great experience for our clients.

Kitchen Studio Dunedin is looking for experienced Kitchen / Joinery Installers to work with our team across Dunedin and Central Otago.

As we continue to grow our presence in Central Otago, we are looking to expand our installer network and would like to hear from:

• A Dunedin-based installer
• A Central Otago-based installer servicing areas including Cromwell, Wānaka and Queenstown

Our preference is to work with experienced contract installers, however we are also open to discussing full-time employment for the right person.

The role

You will be responsible for installing customised designer kitchens and other residential joinery into our clients’ homes.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and can deliver the level of finish our clients expect.

The role includes:

• Installation of kitchens and residential joinery
• Reading and working accurately from plans
• Fitting cabinetry, panels, fillers, hardware and accessories
• Completing adjustments and finishing work
• Site measures
• Problem-solving on site when required
• Working alongside our designers, suppliers and other trades
• Communicating professionally with our clients and team

What we're looking for

You may be a qualified cabinetmaker, joiner, carpenter or an experienced kitchen installer.

More importantly, you will have:

• High standards and a strong eye for detail
• Experience installing kitchens, cabinetry or similar joinery
• The ability to read and work accurately from plans
• Good problem-solving skills
• A reliable and organised approach
• Good communication and a friendly, professional attitude
• The ability to work independently while also being part of the wider Kitchen Studio team

For contractors, you will ideally have your own tools, suitable vehicle and the requirements needed to operate as an independent contractor.

The opportunity

We are looking to develop long-term relationships with quality installers who can work with us as our business continues to grow.

In Dunedin, we're looking to strengthen our existing installation team, while in Central Otago we're continuing to grow the Kitchen Studio Dunedin presence and are looking for a locally based installer we can work with as projects come through.

For the right person who would prefer a permanent role, we're also open to discussing an employed installer position.

If you take pride in your work, have a good eye for detail and enjoy seeing a quality kitchen come together, we'd like to hear from you.
