Peaked Pies is looking for a reliable, organized, and food-loving Cook / Kitchen Lead to join our team!

You’ll play a key role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly, ensuring we always have delicious, fresh pies, sweets, and desserts ready for our customers.

Wage: 20$ plus tips. 5-10$/h on tips based on the season.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and bake pies, sweets, desserts, mashed potatoes, mushy peas, and gravy
• Manage daily food inventory, prep, ordering, and stock levels
• Follow recipes and maintain consistent, high-quality products
• Keep the kitchen, fridges, freezers, and equipment clean and organized
• Follow BC Food Safe standards and FIFO procedures
• Anticipate busy periods and prepare accordingly
• Receive deliveries and maintain accurate food storage and labeling
• Safely drive the company vehicle to collect frozen pie inventory
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and kitchen safety

What We’re Looking For

• Food Safe Level 1 certification
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and stay ahead of daily needs
• Pride in preparing high-quality food
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Valid driver’s licence and confidence driving a company vehicle

Pay: $20.00-$29.00 per hour
