KITCHEN MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – RESTAURANT

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Kitchen Maintenance Technician to join our restaurant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing restaurant kitchen equipment and ensuring that all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance of restaurant kitchen equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment breakdowns.
• Maintain and repair ovens, shawarma machines, grills, fryers, refrigerators, freezers, exhaust systems, dishwashers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Check electrical, plumbing, gas, and mechanical issues related to kitchen operations.
• Respond quickly to urgent equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections and identify potential equipment problems before they cause major breakdowns.
• Coordinate with suppliers and external technicians when specialized repairs are required.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure all maintenance work follows safety and hygiene requirements.
• Support restaurant branches with maintenance requirements when needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, catering, or commercial kitchen maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment and general maintenance.
• Electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and refrigeration knowledge is an advantage.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems independently.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid UAE experience is preferred.
• Candidates who can join immediately are preferred.
