KITCHEN MANAGER

Responsibilities:

• Ensure employees are trained on proper food preparation, health requirement standards and kitchen safety techniques.
• Monitor and evaluate employee performance. Identify areas where changes are needed and implement action.
• Employee Time Management accountability.
• Monitor quality of products and services produced.
• Monitor daily pars of production and proper rotation/shelf life.
• Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies as needed based on orders being processed.
• Maintain health standards for raw and finished products.
• Seeks direction and takes responsibilities for deadlines and tasks when appropriate.
• Proactive with daily/weekly planning and forecasting.
• Create daily food specials to accompany demographics.
• Able to lead and mentor a team.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in operations management or other related fields, 2 years.
• Knowledge of common food safety practices.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Knowledgeable with Inventory practices.
• Ability to create menu plans and seasonal menu cycles.
• Work in a team environment.
• Work flexible shifts.
• Handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to hire, train, manage and lead food service team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $53,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
