KITCHEN MANAGER

The Cabin is hiring an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house team.

We’re looking for someone who can lead a kitchen and work the line. This is a hands-on management position for someone who understands fast-paced service, keeps their cool when things get busy, and knows how to build a strong kitchen team.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support the kitchen team during daily operations
• Work the line and jump into any station when needed
• Train, coach, and develop line cooks, prep cooks, and dish staff
• Maintain food quality, consistency, portioning, and presentation
• Manage prep levels and keep the kitchen ready for service
• Oversee food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Help manage inventory, ordering, waste, and food costs
• Keep service moving during high-volume shifts
• Communicate closely with management and front-of-house leadership
• Help create a kitchen culture built around accountability, teamwork, and getting the job done

What We’re Looking For

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Previous kitchen management or leadership experience required
• Strong line-cook experience required
• Must be comfortable actively working the line during service
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen preferred
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation
• Ability to train and lead employees with different experience levels
• Strong organization, communication, and time-management skills
• Ability to stay composed and make decisions under pressure
• Reliable, accountable, and willing to step in wherever needed
• Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays as required
