Job Summary

Claddagh Oyster House is seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations, support the kitchen team, and maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and service. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and workflow
• Supervise, support, and coordinate kitchen staff
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion standards
• Coordinate food preparation and service during busy periods
• Monitor inventory, supplies, and kitchen equipment
• Assist with ordering and proper food storage
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen
• Train and support kitchen team members
• Ensure proper seafood handling and preparation procedures
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace standards

Requirements

• Previous Kitchen Manager, Chef, or senior kitchen experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Knowledge of seafood preparation and food safety practices
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
