Position Overview

Edinburgh Diner is seeking a dependable and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee kitchen operations, support staff performance, and maintain consistent food quality. The ideal candidate will help ensure smooth service while following food safety and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily kitchen operations and food preparation
• Lead, train, and support kitchen team members
• Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion standards
• Monitor inventory, food supplies, and kitchen equipment
• Coordinate preparation and service during busy shifts
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation requirements
• Assist with employee scheduling and task assignments
• Monitor food costs and minimize waste
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
• Resolve operational issues and support team productivity

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen management or supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen procedures
