Kitchen Manager

Rosita’s Honduran Restaurant is looking for a hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house team. We serve traditional Honduran food made with care, and we’re looking for someone who can help us keep every plate consistent while building a dependable kitchen team.

What you’ll do

• Lead daily kitchen operations, including prep, cooking, service, and closing.
• Train kitchen employees on recipes, portions, presentation, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Set clear expectations and help the team stay organized during busy shifts.
• Maintain consistent food quality and ticket times.
• Help interview, hire, onboard, and coach back-of-house employees.
• Monitor inventory, place or prepare supply orders, and reduce waste.
• Keep food properly stored, labeled, and dated.
• Communicate staffing, equipment, and operational needs to the owners.

What we’re looking for

• Restaurant kitchen experience and experience leading or training others.
• Strong organization and the ability to stay calm during a rush.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and kitchen sanitation.
• Willingness to cook alongside the team and teach by example.
• Dependability, clear communication, and pride in serving quality food.
• Familiarity with Honduran or Central American food is a plus.
• Spanish and English communication is a plus

Pay: $40,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
