Kitchen Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Supervise, lead, and motivate the kitchen team, including assigning duties and monitoring performance.
• Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes, quality standards, and portion specifications.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, consistency, and preparation times.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, food ordering, and proper storage procedures.
• Monitor food costs, portion control, and minimize food waste.
• Ensure FIFO and proper food labeling and storage practices are followed.
• Prepare kitchen schedules and coordinate staff requirements based on business needs.
• Train kitchen staff on recipes, SOPs, food safety, and proper kitchen procedures.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and report maintenance or repair requirements.
• Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager and management regarding kitchen operations, staffing, stock, and operational concerns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and UAE food safety requirements.
• Identify operational issues and implement solutions to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity.
