Walk-On’s The Colony is hiring a hands-on Kitchen Manager who knows how to lead a team, deliver consistent food quality, and keep a busy kitchen running strong. Where all things Grandscape begin and end, our kitchen is at the heart of the guest experience—and we need a leader who takes pride in every plate.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily kitchen operations with a focus on food quality, ticket times, accuracy, and presentation.
• Hire, train, coach, and hold kitchen team members accountable.
• Work alongside your team during busy shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Manage ordering, inventory, prep levels, and product rotation.
• Control food costs, labor, waste, and portion consistency.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, equipment care, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Partner with front-of-house leadership to deliver a great guest experience.
• Follow Walk-On’s recipes, standards, and operating procedures every shift.

What You Bring

• At least 2 years of kitchen management experience in casual dining.
• Strong cooking skills and experience leading a high-volume kitchen.
• A track record of building dependable teams and setting clear expectations.
• Knowledge of inventory management, scheduling, and food and labor cost controls.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
• The ability to stay composed, solve problems, and lead during a rush.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
