Kitchen Manager

Pasture Birmingham is seeking an experienced and organized Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations, support the culinary team, maintain food-quality standards, and ensure an efficient and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service
• Lead, train, and support kitchen staff
• Coordinate kitchen workflow and staff assignments
• Monitor food quality, preparation, portion sizes, and presentation
• Assist chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods
• Monitor food inventory, ingredients, and kitchen supplies
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and proper storage of food products
• Monitor food costs and help minimize waste
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are followed
• Coordinate effectively with front-of-house staff and restaurant management
• Support scheduling, opening, and closing procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional kitchen

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, Head Chef, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and team management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Good understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Good attention to detail and commitment to food quality
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented

Schedule

Full-time restaurant schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: £17.00-£26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34.0 per week
