UNC'S Pizza is a new Detroit-style pizza restaurant in the heart of Downtown Detroit. We're building a team of hardworking, hospitality-driven professionals who want to help create something special.. As Kitchen Manager, you'll play a critical leadership role in shaping our kitchen culture, systems, food quality, and operational success.

We are seeking a strong leader who can build and develop a high-performing team while maintaining exceptional standards for food quality, cleanliness, organization, and execution.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily kitchen operations and service execution
• Assist in training, coaching, and development of kitchen team members
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Work closely with ownership and leadership to establish systems and procedures
• Foster a positive, professional, and accountable kitchen culture
• Assist with menu execution, recipe adherence, and product development

Qualifications:

• Previous Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef or similar leadership experience
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Proven ability to manage high-volume kitchen operations
• Knowledge of food safety, inventory management, and labor controls
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lead by example and remain calm under pressure
• Pizza experience is a plus but not required
