Kitchen Manager (Japanese Cuisine)

Gyukaku Prime Pacific Place is hiring Kitchen Manager (Japanese Cuisine)

Qualification :

• Experiences and knowledge preparing and cooking Japanese Dishes and Cuisine
• Comfortable working in a high volume fast paced environment
• Knowledge and experience with monitoring inventory, calculating food costs

Job Description :

• Controls and oversees kitchen operations
• Overseeing and ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen
• Monitoring inventory and purchasing food supplies
• Monitoring and ensuring the quality of food items
• Supervising other supervisor kitchen and kitchen staff
• Collaborating with restaurant manager to come up with new menus and ideas

Requirement :

• Maximun of 70 minutes commute from home to Central Jakarta
• 10 hours a day (inclusive 1 hour break), 6 days a week
• Minimum 3 years experienced in a management role. Preferably in a mid-high end restaurant or hotel
• Willing to work in a shift schedule and in flexible hours
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays
• Honest responsible and able to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team Team player and collaborative
