Kitchen Operations Associate – Full-Time

Soul Foods India is a family-owned Indian food and grocery business in Frisco, Texas. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and flexible Kitchen Operations Associate to join our team.

This is a hands-on position for someone who is willing to learn, take on different responsibilities, and help wherever needed in the kitchen and store.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, cooking, frying, heating, and customer orders.
• Perform prep work such as cutting, washing, peeling, and organizing ingredients.
• Work on the line during busy periods.
• Assist with food packaging and catering orders.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Assist with inventory, food storage, labeling, and food safety procedures.
• Help with store activities and other duties as needed.

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time: approximately 48–50 hours per week
• Overtime opportunity: Hours over 40 in the Company's Monday–Sunday workweek are paid at 1.5× the regular hourly rate, in accordance with applicable labor laws.
• One regular weekly day off, generally Thursday or Friday.
• One-hour unpaid meal break each workday, with timing determined by the Store Manager.
• Work schedules and shift times may vary based on business needs, workload, and special events.
