About Kefilo

Kefilo is building a human transformation ecosystem focused on functional nutrition, preventive wellness and long-term health outcomes.

We are developing scalable food products, transformation programs and food production infrastructure to deliver nutritious, standardised and commercially viable meals at scale.

We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Operations Expert to help build and optimise Kefilos kitchen operations and production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Kitchen Operations - Design and optimise end-to-end kitchen operations covering procurement, preparation, cooking, packing, dispatch and daily production.
• Process Standardisation - Develop SOPs for recipes, preparation, cooking, portioning, packaging, hygiene and quality control to ensure consistent output.
• Production Scaling - Build systems capable of scaling from the current operation to high-volume meal production with efficient manpower, equipment and workflows.
• Kitchen Layout Workflow - Advise on kitchen layout, equipment selection, workstations, material movement and production flow for maximum efficiency.
• Cost Resource Optimisation - Improve food cost, labour productivity, wastage, inventory utilisation, energy consumption and overall kitchen economics.
• Technology Automation - Identify opportunities for semi-automation, smart equipment, process automation and technology-enabled kitchen operations.
• Quality Food Safety - Establish operational systems for hygiene, food safety, quality control, storage, temperature management and compliance.
• Supply Chain Inventory - Develop efficient systems for procurement, vendor management, raw-material planning, inventory control and demand forecasting.
• Operational Expansion - Help create a replicable kitchen model that can be implemented across multiple locations as Kefilo expands.

Ideal Candidate

• 8+ years of experience in commercial kitchens, cloud kitchens, food manufacturing, QSR, hotels, catering or large-scale food operations.
• Strong hands-on experience managing high-volume food production.
• Experience in kitchen setup, process optimisation and operational scaling.
• Strong understanding of food safety, inventory, procurement and cost management.
• Experience with kitchen automation, equipment or semi-automated production will be an advantage.
• Ability to build SOPs and operational systems from the ground up.
• Strong problem-solving and operational management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to work closely with an early-stage founding team.

Important: This is an equity-based position with no fixed salary at the current stage. Equity will be structured based on expertise, contribution, commitment and company milestones, subject to formal equity and founder/advisory agreements.

We are looking for someone who can help Kefilo build a scalable, standardised and technology-enabled kitchen operation , rather than simply manage routine kitchen activities.
