Kitchen Packaging Associate

Purpose

TRP is a preferred global retail partner that will be opening and operating stores across the US and beyond.

We are looking for a hardworking, goal-oriented individual to join our Packaging department.

Kitchen packagers are responsible for executing production plans in keeping with the Company’s operating procedures. Kitchen packagers carry out the day-to-day assignments and tasks of the medical Cannabis production cycle.

Core Responsibilities

• Fundamental knowledge, as well as the ability to be taught and guided in areas related to harvesting, drying, trimming, curing, and packaging
• Consistently perform daily work in packaging various items from the kitchen, including but not limited to gummies, chocolates, edibles.
• Weighing out product
• Labeling Mylar bags
• Packaging product into mylar bags
• Must understand and maintain compliance with the rules and regulations set forth by the State; a pursuit to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and laws is appreciated
• Skill in analyzing potential problems with a plant or the product being processed
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow Company SOP’s and comply with all safety regulations
• Complete assigned duties within established timeframe
• Willing to perform other duties as assigned
• Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of production warehouse

• Passion for and knowledgeable about Cannabis
• Passion for cannabis Culture
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Able to clearly outline objectives, and create, assess and evaluate timelines

Work Environment:

This job operates in a cGMP inspected manufacturing facility. This role routinely uses gloves and scissors, and employees are required to wear coveralls, hairnets, and other PPE, including at times, face covers. This position regularly requires long hours. Weekend work opportunities are available and, at times, may be required.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.

Travel:

This position does not require travel.
