Ocean View at The Dome is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to support our chefs and help keep our kitchen running smoothly. Christmas & New Years Eve/ Day availability with the exception of Christmas Day as we will be shut.

The Role:

As Kitchen Assistant, you'll be a key part of our back-of-house team, helping with food prep, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, and supporting the chefs wherever needed. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a professional kitchen and learn from a talented culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic food preparation tasks.
• Ensure all kitchen areas are kept clean, tidy, and hygienic.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Receive and store deliveries correctly.
• Support chefs and front-of-house team as required.

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good team player with a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous kitchen experience is a bonus but not essential – full training provided.
• Some available to work at least 3 of the following: Christmas Eve/ Boxing Day/New Years Eve/New Years Day
