Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, surfaces, equipment, and utensils, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as washing vegetables, peeling, and portioning ingredients under supervision
• Support the culinary team by ensuring all dishes are prepared in a timely manner and kitchen stations are organized
• Clear and clean tables in dining areas when required, supporting serving staff during busy service times
• Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed to promote sustainability
• Restock supplies such as cleaning materials, utensils, and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Follow strict hygiene protocols to prevent contamination and maintain a safe working environment

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is highly desirable but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
• Familiarity with food preparation, cooking processes, or kitchen routines is advantageous
• Experience in serving or supporting front-of-house staff can be beneficial for understanding guest service standards
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling and hygiene practices is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
