15 hours per week, minimum wage

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join the team at Pastures Lodge & Hotel.

This is a hands-on role supporting our kitchen team and helping to maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and organisation across a busy restaurant, hotel and events operation.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Washing pots, pans, crockery and kitchen equipment
• Keeping kitchen, preparation and storage areas clean and organised
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen
• Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly
• Assisting with deliveries and putting stock away
• Supporting chefs with basic preparation tasks when required
• Ensuring cleaning schedules are completed properly
• Following all food hygiene, health & safety and COSHH procedures
• Helping the kitchen team during busy services
• Completing opening and closing cleaning duties as required

• Takes pride in keeping their work area clean and organised
• Can work efficiently in a busy environment
• Is happy working as part of a team
• Has a positive and flexible attitude
• Can follow instructions and complete tasks without constant supervision
• Is available to work evenings and weekends
• Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
