Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, utensils, and equipment
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision to support the culinary team
• Ensure all dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools are properly washed, sanitized, and stored
• Support the safe handling and disposal of waste and recyclables in accordance with health standards
• Help organize storage areas by rotating stock and ensuring ingredients are stored correctly
• Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold a hygienic working environment
• Support serving staff during busy periods by preparing necessary supplies or clearing tables as needed

Expectations

• Previous experience in a takeaway, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is advantageous but not essential - training will be provided
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues
• Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary processes and hospitality standards
• Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving throughout shift
