Duties

• Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients to assist chefs with food preparation tasks
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, utensils, and equipment
• Ensure all dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools are properly sanitized and stored after use
• Support the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations during service hours
• Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures to uphold hygiene standards
• Help with basic cooking tasks under supervision to develop culinary skills
• Follow health and safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm is key!
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
• Good physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks effectively

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
