Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, surfaces, equipment, and utensils to uphold health and safety standards
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs to support smooth kitchen operations
• Ensure all dishes, cookware, and utensils are properly washed, sanitized, and stored in designated areas
• Support the organization of stock and supplies to ensure ingredients are readily available for cooking and serving
• Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to maintain a tidy workspace
• Assist with setting up dining areas or service stations as needed during busy periods
• Follow health and safety regulations diligently to promote a safe working environment for all team members

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
