Kitchen Porter

Flok Jobs is looking for hardworking, reliable kitchen porters to join our network and support busy kitchens across London's top hospitality venues. You'll work directly with venues through our app, picking up shifts that suit your schedule with no agency markups cutting into your pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitise, and store crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently.
• Keep kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment clean throughout service.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks when required.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling in line with venue procedures.
• Receive and store deliveries correctly, checking stock against orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of storerooms, fridges, and freezers.
• Support kitchen staff during busy services, events, or peak trading periods.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations at all times.
• Report any equipment faults or maintenance issues to management.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen porter or back-of-house experience preferred, but not essential.
• Ability to work quickly and stay organised under pressure during busy services.
• Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving throughout shifts.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varied shift patterns.
• Basic food hygiene awareness.
• A team player attitude with reliability and punctuality.

Pay: £14.50-£19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 50.0 per week
