We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our culinary operations within a cafe environment. As a Kitchen Porter, you will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and ensure that our culinary staff can focus on delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
• Help with the delivery and storage of supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
• Support the culinary team during busy service periods by providing timely assistance as required.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Participate in regular cleaning schedules to uphold hygiene standards in the kitchen.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a or care setting is advantageous but not essential.
• A strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and develop skills in the hospitality industry.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• A passion for food and hospitality is highly desirable.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the business needs.
