We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen environment, ensuring smooth daily operations. Duties

• Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards
• Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or kitchen staff
• Supporting the organisation and storage of supplies and ingredients
• Ensuring the cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas throughout the shift
• Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Restocking supplies in preparation for service periods
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service times to ensure efficient operation

Skills

• Experience or interest in food preparation, cooking, or working within a restaurant or hotel environment is advantageous
• Knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary and hospitality operations
• Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
• Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is beneficial but not essential; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are equally valued
