Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, utensils, and equipment to uphold health and safety standards
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision to support the culinary team
• Ensure all dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools are properly washed, sanitized, and stored
• Support the organization of storage areas by rotating stock and managing inventory levels
• Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to promote an eco-friendly environment
• Follow health and safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe working space for everyone
• Support serving staff during busy service times by preparing supplies or clearing tables as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
• Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene standards
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a food service setting
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
• A genuine interest in hospitality, cooking, and delivering excellent guest experiences
