We’re looking for reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porters to join our busy, food-led kitchen team.

You will start on minimum wage but have a share of generous weekly tip share

We’re a quality gastro pub focused on fresh, seasonal produce and high standards, and our kitchen porters play an important role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly.

The Role

As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll be responsible for keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running efficiently, while supporting the chefs throughout service.

Your duties will include:

• Washing up and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy
• Cleaning equipment, floors and kitchen areas
• Helping with basic food preparation when required
• Keeping the kitchen organised and well stocked
• Assisting with deliveries and putting stock away
• Supporting the chefs during busy services
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene

Previous kitchen or kitchen porter experience is preferable, although we’re happy to consider the right person with a great attitude and willingness to learn.

Hours

We have full-time and part-time positions available, with flexibility around hours for the right candidate.

Typical shifts include:

Monday–Saturday:

11:00–15:00

17:30–22:00

There will be a mixture of split shifts and straight shifts depending on the rota and your availability.

Sundays:

11:00–19:00

Important – Own Transport Essential

Due to our rural location and lack of public transport links, your own reliable transport is essential for this position.

Experience:

• Kitchen porter: 1 year (preferred)
