About the role
We are a nightclub in Lan Kwai Fong looking for a Kitchen Porter to assist the Head Chef in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in a kitchen.
Key responsibilities
- Perform kitchen prep tasks such as peeling and chopping vegetables, washing produce, and preparing ingredients
- Unload incoming food and equipment shipments, check items, and ensure all food items are properly placed
- Wash dishes, equipment and utensils using an industrial dishwasher
- Sweep and mop the floors, empty out garbage, change garbage liners and clean, sanitize kitchen surfaces, and conduct monthly deep-cleaning
- Notify Head Chef immediately about broken equipment, maintenance needs, or low cleaning supplies
- Inventory management – end of month stock take
About you
- Organised, work-oriented, able to multi-task
- English language skill; other languages is a plus
Salary: HK$14,000 per month
Work hours: 5 days per week, 50 hours per week Tue-Sat
Location: Central, Hong Kong
