Kitchen Porter

Job Overview

We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team by maintaining cleanliness, washing dishes and kitchen equipment. The position is part time and in addition to cover other kitchen staff holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
• Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas within the kitchen.
• Organising and storing clean items appropriately to ensure easy access during service.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently and responsibly.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
