Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, utensils, pots, pans, and appliances
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision to support the culinary team
• Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies in accordance with safety standards
• Support the dishwashing process by cleaning dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools promptly and efficiently
• Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to uphold hygiene standards
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
• Follow health and safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe working environment for all staff

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, and kitchen procedures is advantageous
• Experience working in hotels or catering services can be beneficial but is not mandatory
• Strong understanding of hygiene standards within food service settings
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
