Kitchen Porter

Join our team at Dionysus, a local favourite Greek restaurant in Southgate. We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team and help keep everything running smoothly. No previous experience is required, as training can be provided. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Working Days: Fridays & Saturdays are a must. Service ends at 11pm on these days. We are closed on Sundays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep kitchen areas, equipment and utensils clean and organised.
• Wash dishes, cookware and kitchen equipment efficiently.
• Assist the kitchen team with basic tasks when required.
• Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and work areas remain tidy.
• Follow all food hygiene, health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
• Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Health & Safety/Food Hygiene qualifications are ideal, but training and the opportunity to gain relevant qualifications can be provided.

What We Offer: £13–£16 per hour including tips, full-time or part-time positions, a friendly and supportive team environment, free food while on shift and the opportunity to take home leftovers.
