Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation tasks to support the culinary team
• Ensure all kitchen areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized throughout the shift
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and safely
• Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, storage areas, and waste disposal zones
• Support in organizing supplies and stock to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to uphold hygiene standards
• Help with receiving deliveries and storing ingredients properly

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential
• Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety practices is advantageous
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
