We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy culinary team. The ideal candidate will support the smooth operation of our kitchen by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring all areas meet hygiene standards. Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to uphold health and safety standards.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers.
• Support the organisation and storage of ingredients and supplies.
• Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycling procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including floors, sinks, and storage zones.
• Support the team during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed.
• Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
• Experience working in restaurants, hotels, or catering environments is desirable.
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene standards and safety procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude towards teamwork.
• Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends and evenings if necessary.
• A positive approach with good communication skills and a willingness to learn new skills within the hospitality sector.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
