Key Responsibilities

As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting the wider kitchen team and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Your duties will include:

• Assisting with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, cutting, peeling, and washing ingredients
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning workstations, and floors
• Supporting the team to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently at all times
• Monitoring and replenishing stock levels of cleaning products and supplies
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures, including the safe use of equipment and compliance with safe systems of work
• Occasionally interacting with guests and colleagues, helping to maintain a positive and professional environment

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• A commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards
• An understanding of health and safety practices (or willingness to learn)

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided for the right candidate.
