Join Our Team as a Kitchen Porter

Job Description: We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Porter. As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen, assisting with basic food preparation tasks, and supporting our chefs and kitchen staff as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and organized at all times
• Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste properly
• Assisting with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling and chopping vegetables
• Following all health and safety guidelines and regulations
• Collaborating with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and take direction from kitchen staff
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
