Duties

• Assist with food preparation tasks to support chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring ingredients and tools are ready for service
• Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
• Ensure the kitchen area is organized, sanitized, and compliant with health and safety standards at all times
• Support with waste disposal and recycling procedures to keep the kitchen environment safe and sustainable
• Help with basic food handling tasks under supervision, contributing to smooth meal service operations
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure the kitchen remains fully equipped for daily operations
• Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of hospitality and service excellence

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety protocols
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
• Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving items throughout shifts
• Familiarity with hygiene standards and health regulations in food service environments is advantageous
• A proactive approach to cleanliness, organization, and supporting the overall guest experience

Pay: £10.50-£12.71 per hour
