Kitchen Porter

We’re looking for a hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team at The Cow Saloon Bar & Dining Rooms. In this vital role, you’ll help keep our kitchen running smoothly by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and supporting the wider team. What You’ll Do:

• Keep kitchen areas clean, organised, and hygienic
• Assist chefs with basic food prep and ingredient fetching
• Receive, store, and organise deliveries
• Follow hygiene and safety standards, including HACCP guidelines
• Wash dishes, clean surfaces, and dispose of waste properly
• Maintain stock rotation to minimise waste

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 2 years’ experience as a Kitchen Porter or Kitchen Assistant
• Experience in a high-volume kitchen
• Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards
• A team player with a strong work ethic
• Full-time availability (around 40 hours per week)
• Right to Work: Candidates must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom. Proof of eligibility will be required prior to employment in accordance with Home Office guidelines.
