Position Overview

Chambers is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Fulltime/Part-Time Porter / Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team.

This position plays an essential role in supporting daily kitchen operations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring that our culinary team has the tools and equipment needed to execute service efficiently.

The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and an understanding of the importance of cleanliness, organization, and teamwork in a professional kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient dishwashing station throughout service.
• Support the culinary team by ensuring a consistent supply of clean equipment and serviceware.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen floors, work surfaces, equipment, and storage areas.
• Assist with trash removal, recycling, composting, and responsible waste management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of back-of-house spaces.
• Follow established food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with end-of-night cleaning and kitchen closing responsibilities.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary team to maintain a professional, respectful, and efficient kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a professional restaurant kitchen preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and punctuality.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to support fellow team members.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and contribute to a team-oriented workplace.

Schedule & Compensation

Hourly Rate: $20/hour

Schedule: Minimum of three evening shifts per week, ideally Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. A Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday schedule may also be considered.

Shift Hours: Family meal is provided at 4:00 PM, with work beginning at 4:30 PM and ending at approximately 1:00 AM.
