Are you a hardworking and reliable team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team at the beautiful Lea Marston Hotel.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play an essential role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly while supporting our chefs in delivering exceptional food and memorable guest experiences.

We are looking for someone flexible, including weekends, who brings energy, a positive attitude and a willingness to get stuck in. You'll take pride in maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen while working as part of a supportive team.

What you will be doing

• Ensuring all kitchen equipment, utensils and crockery are cleaned and ready for service
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and back of house areas
• Supporting the chefs with basic food preparation when required
• Receiving and storing deliveries safely and correctly
• Ensuring waste is disposed of appropriately and recycling procedures are followed
• Keeping all storage areas clean, tidy and organised
• Following all food hygiene, health and safety procedures
• Supporting the wider kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient service
• Taking pride in maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
• And most importantly… enjoying what you do while being an important part of a successful kitchen team.
