The Dartmoor Halfway Inn is looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in keeping a kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team in a busy hospitality environment, with opportunities for both full-time and part-time work.

Your Responsibilities

• Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment.
• Keeping the kitchen, washing-up area and floors clean and tidy.
• Supporting chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods.
• Ensuring cleaning standards and food hygiene procedures are followed.
• Assisting with deliveries and putting stock away when required.
• Helping maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Reliability, punctuality and good timekeeping.
• The ability to work well as part of a team.
• Someone who can work efficiently in a busy kitchen.
• Previous kitchen porter experience is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided.
• Own transport is essential due to our location.
• Availability to work weekdays and weekends, including a flexible range of shifts.
