Job Overview

Join a busy kitchen team as a Kitchen Porter, helping keep the workspace clean, organised and ready for service. You’ll support chefs and front-of-house colleagues, with opportunities to assist with food preparation as your experience allows.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, cookware and utensils, and return them to their designated places.
• Clean kitchen surfaces, equipment and floors, following hygiene and food safety procedures.
• Help receive and store deliveries, rotate stock and keep storage areas tidy.
• Assist with basic food preparation and support cooking tasks when requested.
• Your impact: A clean, well-stocked kitchen helps chefs prepare dishes efficiently and gives guests a smoother dining experience.

Requirements

• A reliable, practical approach and willingness to work as part of a hospitality team.
• Kitchen, restaurant or hotel experience is useful but not essential.
• Previous culinary experience, food preparation, cooking or serving skills are welcome.
• An interest in hospitality and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Pay: £12.71-£19.35 per hour
