Kitchen Porter

Remo's is currently looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our friendly team in our busy beachfront coffeeshop and restaurant.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Potwashing
• Stripping and cleaning kitchen equipment to high standard
• ensuring all areas of kitchen always clean and organised
• following strict cleaning schedules
• Putting deliveries away and organising stores
• Assisting chefs in smooth running of kitchen in any way
• Small amount of food preparation
• follow all relevant Health & Safety regulations
• provide excellent customer service always

Desirable Requirements:

• Food Hygiene certificate level 2 or above
• Experience in similar workplace
• COSHH training
• Manual handling training

We are a family run coffee shop, ice cream parlour, and restaurant that has been the heart and soul of Aberavon Beachfront since 2005. Our homemade gelato, expertly made coffee, and freshly prepared delicious meals have earned us a reputation that ensures we are busy all year round and makes us the destination to visit when in Port Talbot.

Part-time hours: 20 per week

Full time hours: 40 hours per week
