ONYX Bar & Restaurant in Ascot is urgently looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team on a permanent, full-time basis.

This job is based at ONYX Bar & Restaurant, 1 High Street, Ascot, SL5 7JF.

Main Duties

• Maintain excellent kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment
• Clean floors, walls, work surfaces and food preparation areas
• Maintain cleanliness of fridges, storage areas and kitchen equipment
• Correctly handle waste and maintain bin areas
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required
• Complete daily opening and closing cleaning duties
• Follow food safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures
• Help maintain a clean, organised and professional kitchen throughout service

What We Are Looking For

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Previous Kitchen Porter or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
• Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
• High standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Available to work Tuesday to Sunday
• Able to travel reliably to Ascot, SL5 7JF
• Available for an immediate start
• Must already have the legal right to work in the UK

Pay: £12.71–£13.50 per hour, depending on experience

Hours: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
