Corner Grill House is looking for a reliable Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen team and help keep service running smoothly.

This is a hands-on role involving cleaning, basic food preparation and general kitchen support. Previous experience is welcome, but not essential - we’ll provide training.

What you’ll be doing

• Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Keeping kitchen work areas clean, organised and safe.
• Supporting the chefs with basic food preparation.
• Helping receive and put away deliveries.
• Removing rubbish and following food hygiene and health and safety procedures.

What we’re looking for

• A reliable team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• The ability to work efficiently and follow instructions during busy services.
• Availability for approximately 2–3 afternoon and evening shifts per week, including weekends.
• Availability to work during our busy December period.

This is a zero-hours position. We anticipate approximately 12–18 hours across 2–3 shifts per week, depending on business needs and agreed availability. Hours are not guaranteed.
