Duties

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, and equipment to uphold health and safety standards
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients under supervision
• Support chefs by ensuring all necessary supplies and ingredients are readily available for service
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently to keep the kitchen running smoothly
• Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to maintain an organized workspace
• Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are stored correctly after use
• Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a safe environment for all staff

Experience

• Previous experience working in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is advantageous
• Familiarity with kitchen hygiene standards and safety procedures is a plus
