Kitchen Porter/Commis Chef

Job Overview
We are currently looking for a new staff member to join our growing business as a kitchen porter/commis chef. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and support chefs during and after service. You will need to be prepared to work in a fast paced environment and operate as a part of the team using good communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cleaning and sanitisation of the kitchen and work areas

• Basic vegetable prep

• Keeping equipment and stock in a neat and orderly manner

• Helping chefs prepare dishes during service

Qualifications

• Food Hygiene level 2 (this can be done through us if you haven't got one)

• Full training will be provided once an applicant is chosen.

-£10.85 per hour for ages 18–20 in accordance with National Minimum Wage guidelines, Pay is negotiable
