Duties

• Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under the supervision of chefs and kitchen staff
• Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently and thoroughly
• Ensure kitchen workstations are hygienic, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
• Support the storage and rotation of ingredients, ensuring proper handling and labeling
• Help with waste disposal and recycling processes to uphold health and safety standards
• Assist with serving food in dining areas when required, ensuring prompt and friendly service
• Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to create a safe environment for staff and guests

Skills

• Experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene practices and safety procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills in culinary operations
• Previous experience in serving or hospitality roles is a plus but not essential
